i use to wonder{and please take this as my own opinion} that have we really taken the time out to look into the adverse effect that overcrowding, homelessness, living in squatter conditions, houses that have no rest rooms and are as filthy as the word itself have on the health conditions of those living with aids, or the generallity of the populace? have we thought of how we can extend their life-span by presenting them with {not neccessarily 5-star hotels} but at least decent accomodation befitting a human being.
the cost of anti-retroviral drugs is much{thanks to the federal govt. initiative in helping}, but do we need to compound the problems of these people who might not have access to adequate housing? is it not possible for our government to be more actively involved in helping these people by providing them with accomodation so that their health conditions will be better enhanced and their immunity levels kept at a high level. or don't you think so?
